I have read thousands of essays throughout my career as an English teacher. I have also written hundreds of essays across my own education, from analysis to a dissertation to white papers. Focusing on style and organization, I help writers improve their craft to produce pieces they are proud of.

I’m fluent in the mechanics of both APA and MLA formatting. I provide editing services for remote students, graduate students, professionals, researchers, and adult learners.

Consulting

Teachers lead in many ways: through innovative practice, disruption, and advocacy. I served as an Instructional Coach and Professional Learning Community (PLC) Facilitator, assuming leadership roles while helping colleagues meet their stated teaching goals. I offer workshops to develop leadership traits, help teams navigate curricular reform, and consult as a Curriculum Developer.

Curriculum Design

I love teaching! As a former secondary English Language Arts teacher with 12 years of experience, I taught every high school level, from AP Literature, AP Language and Composition, American/British/World Literature, Creative Writing, Speech, and elective capstones. Curating content that is meaningful, aligned, and student-centered is a welcome challenge. I feature multicultural voices and enjoy collaborating across disciplines.
